Back from New York + Recent Writing

Lewis is back from his research trip to New York, where he spent time at the Fales archive, Howl! Happening, Select Art Fair, New York LPA, St. Marks Poetry Project and NYU.

Recent Writing + News

- Lewis was delighted to win the award for 'Best Live Art' at Bornshorts Festival in Bornholm, Denmark, at the end of last year.

- Lewis has been continuing with his PhD, travelling to Berlin to interview the incomparable Vaginal Davis in December 2014, and is booked in to visit New York in May 2015 for archival research.

PhD, Burger Van and Writing

- Lewis has now begun his PhD at Queen Mary, University of London. He is writing on the polymath, artists making work in more than one medium, and their critical reception.

- Burger Van has been awarded a £1000 'No Strings Attached' grant from Farnham Maltings for further development. Follow @BurgerVanPlay for further updates and 2014 dates.

- Lewis is continuing his writing for Exeunt, Loose Lips and other publications.

New Stuff

Lewis has been particularly busy the past few weeks and is now:

• Curating a monthly, profit-share performance night in Bethnal Green: Last Fridays.
